Her Summoner outfit is a modified version of Awakening's Trickster class. The cape has a cosmic interior. She wears a scarf that covers a scar on her neck. After Book 2 ends, Hrid is severely injured from his encounter with Surtr, and part of his face is scarred/burned, explaining the mask. He also couldn't talk during recovery. Sky had been tending to his wounds, so the injury is not a big shock to her. The dramatic irony/tension can come from trying to figure out who's voice was guiding her. She's seen him, she's heard his voice, but never both at the same time.
Hrid visits Sky's dreams constantly, and sometimes while she's alone, his voice coaches her singing. Despite only watching her from the shadows, Hrid's feelings for the Summoner grow ever stronger, and have been strong ever since she helped him recover from his injuries. When the two finally meet face to face, it's obvious who the phantom is all along. Sky surrenders to him immediately.

Domestic Fluff - Hrid is lonely on the icy throne while his sisters get to hang out in Askr. He had 0 screentime for 5 years so I've gladly filled in the blanks. Sky marries Hrid and moves in with him after retiring as Summoner. They got busy and had a lot of children together. In fact the first few kids (Frija, Hermod, Sunna & Mani) were born while Sky was still working in the Order of Heroes. They are inseparable when ruling over Nifl.

Griss is 175 cm, a little shorter than Hrid.
Sky and Hrid are married. But one day, Sky has a dream of Elyos and falls in love with this tattooed handsome stranger. She summons him to Askr by accident, to Hrid's dismay as he's about to find out. Hrid lets this slide; he's secretly a masochist and likes the thrill of having to chase his wife again, but he finds Griss to be really cringy (all he talks about is pain??). If the two men find out that they're a lot alike, maybe things will work out between them.
Hrid and Griss don't look like they have much in common, but hear me out.
Their characterization is heavy on the themes of family and loyalty. Hrid always goes out of his way to help his sisters, and is forever grateful to the Summoner for saving him and his Kingdom, swearing his life to them. Griss isn't one to show gratitude, but he is fiercely loyal to Zephia, the one person he considers his family. Griss sees in the couple what he saw in himself and Zephia, and is glad to join them in some misadventures.
Hrid is reckless and there's several instances where he willingly puts himself in a painful situation to protect his Kingdom or just for funsies. (Surtr attempt, wanting to fight a hundred bandits in Reinhardt's forging bonds).
The dynamic:
Griss likes this couple that summoned him. Sky is so devoted to her husband, she reminds him of Zephia. Sky clearly reciprocates his advances. He can push Hrid's buttons by flirting with Sky and get an exquisite beating from him in return. Everybody wins.
Hrid doesn't look like it, but he gets jealous easily. The crown he wears helps him keep his cool. Worried that the Summoner will leave him, he gets clingier with her while burying his own hurt feelings and resentment.
Sky loves her husband and would never leave him. She just wanted Griss to hang out with them as a trio. Whether it's friendly or romantic hanging out, it's up to you!
Likes: One-sided Griss/Hrid. they both simp for Sky. Manservice. Sky playing dumb when she humors their penchant for pain. Hrid is a little obsessive/clingy towards Sky and ramps up his romantic gestures to her. Griss flirts with Sky but it's really for her man's attention. Silly awkward moments between Hrid and Griss because one of them lowkey likes pain, but the other really likes pain to a cringy degree and makes it his entire personality. straight man and funny man duo, Bowser/Peach/Mario dynamic. knives or Gjoll involved somehow.

After Book 2 ends, Hrid is severely injured from his encounter with Surtr, and part of his face is scarred/burned, explaining the mask. He also couldn't talk during recovery. Sky had been tending to his wounds, so the injury is not a big shock to her. The dramatic irony/tension can come from trying to figure out who's voice was guiding her. She's seen him, she's heard his voice, but never both at the same time.
Hrid visits Sky's dreams constantly, and sometimes while she's alone, his voice coaches her singing. Despite only watching her from the shadows, Hrid's feelings for the Summoner grow ever stronger, and have been strong ever since she helped him recover from his injuries. When the two finally meet face to face, it's obvious who the phantom is all along. Sky surrenders to him immediately.

Domestic Fluff - Hrid is lonely on the icy throne while his sisters get to hang out in Askr. He had 0 screentime for 5 years so I've gladly filled in the blanks. Sky marries Hrid and moves in with him after retiring as Summoner. They got busy and had a lot of children together. In fact the first few kids (Frija, Hermod, Sunna & Mani) were born while Sky was still working in the Order of Heroes. They are inseparable when ruling over Nifl.

Sky and Hrid are married. But one day, Sky has a dream of Elyos and falls in love with this tattooed handsome stranger. She summons him to Askr by accident, to Hrid's dismay as he's about to find out. Hrid lets this slide; he's secretly a masochist and likes the thrill of having to chase his wife again, but he finds Griss to be really cringy (all he talks about is pain??). If the two men find out that they're a lot alike, maybe things will work out between them.
Hrid and Griss don't look like they have much in common, but hear me out.
Their characterization is heavy on the themes of family and loyalty. Hrid always goes out of his way to help his sisters, and is forever grateful to the Summoner for saving him and his Kingdom, swearing his life to them. Griss isn't one to show gratitude, but he is fiercely loyal to Zephia, the one person he considers his family. Griss sees in the couple what he saw in himself and Zephia, and is glad to join them in some misadventures.
Hrid is reckless and there's several instances where he willingly puts himself in a painful situation to protect his Kingdom or just for funsies. (Surtr attempt, wanting to fight a hundred bandits in Reinhardt's forging bonds).
The dynamic:
Griss likes this couple that summoned him. Sky is so devoted to her husband, she reminds him of Zephia. Sky clearly reciprocates his advances. He can push Hrid's buttons by flirting with Sky and get an exquisite beating from him in return. Everybody wins.
Hrid doesn't look like it, but he gets jealous easily. The crown he wears helps him keep his cool. Worried that the Summoner will leave him, he gets clingier with her while burying his own hurt feelings and resentment.
Sky loves her husband and would never leave him. She just wanted Griss to hang out with them as a trio. Whether it's friendly or romantic hanging out, it's up to you!
Likes: One-sided Griss/Hrid. they both simp for Sky. Manservice. Sky playing dumb when she humors their penchant for pain. Hrid is a little obsessive/clingy towards Sky and ramps up his romantic gestures to her. Griss flirts with Sky but it's really for her man's attention.
